JK: I’m working on a few. Firstly I’ve just got back from living in Los Angeles for 3 months and I am editing together a project I shot whilst out there as well as a couple of music video’s. I’m also finishing up a project on WW2 pillboxes here in the UK and I will be unveiling that soon. I’m also putting together my first book of photos I shot whilst in India.
JC: Where are you currently living and how is it shaping you?
JK: I’m currently living in Sleepy Somerset in the South West of England. It’s pretty laid back with Glastonbury down the road which is a very unique place with lot’s of aging hippies. Being able to walk outside and to be in the countryside straight away is amazing.
JC: One piece of advice to recent photography graduates?
JK: Just shoot and evaluate. Take photos and look at what makes them good or bad. What works and what doesn’t.
JC: Any big plans for 2013?
JK: I’m planning on making my first documentary movie about a parrot. I’m also planning on moving to London which I’ve been saying I’ll do for the last couple of years but have decided to go traveling instead. Whatever 2013 holds I’m looking forward to it.
